Your glass has a shield now. Here’s how to keep it clear.
XPEL windshield protection film is nearly invisible and takes the hits your glass used to take. It needs a few days to settle, then very little from you.
No car washes or wiper use for 3 days.
Do
- ✓Clean with an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber. Wipe gently.
- ✓Keep fresh wiper blades on the car. Smooth rubber, no nicks.
- ✓Use plenty of washer fluid before running the wipers on a dry, dusty windshield.
- ✓Send us a photo if a rock leaves a mark. The film absorbs impacts, and small marks often heal or can be touched up.
Don’t
- ✕Don’t run the wipers or go through a car wash for 72 hours.
- ✕Don’t scrape the windshield with an ice scraper, razor blade or anything hard.
- ✕Don’t use ammonia-based cleaners or abrasive pads.
- ✕Don’t attach suction-cup mounts to the film. Use a dash or vent mount.
Your warranty
XPEL windshield protection film carries a limited warranty against defects in the film. It’s designed to take impacts, and a chip or crack in the film is the film doing its job, not a defect. If the glass beneath is ever damaged, we can remove and replace the film. Keep your receipt and text us with any questions.
