Every film and coating we install carries an XPEL manufacturer warranty, and every install carries our own promise: if the workmanship isn’t right, we make it right. Here’s what that means in plain language.
Window tint
- Bubbling, peeling and cracking
- Discoloration and fading to purple
- Delamination and adhesive failure
- Scratches, gouges or damage from cleaning products, suction cups or abrasion
Paint protection film
- Yellowing and staining
- Cracking, blistering and peeling
- Delamination from the paint
- Rock chips through the film, damage to paint beneath, or normal wear at edges
Ceramic coating
- Loss of gloss and hydrophobic performance
- Coating failure with proper maintenance
- Registered with XPEL by OCD at install
- Scratches, swirls, water spotting, or neglect (automatic brush washes, missed maintenance)

How a claim works

Send us a photo
Text a picture of the issue to 850-787-8584 before touching it. Most questions are answered from the photo.
Bring it by
We inspect it in the shop, usually the same week. Bring your receipt or your name and vehicle.
We file with XPEL
If it’s a film or coating defect, we open the claim with XPEL and handle the paperwork.
Replaced, no charge
Covered film is removed and reinstalled at no cost to you.

Take a photo of it the day you pick up. If you’ve lost it, call us. We keep records too, but the receipt makes it instant.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell the car?
XPEL PPF warranties are tied to the vehicle and generally transfer to a new owner. Tint and coating terms vary. Ask us and we’ll confirm for your product.
What if a rock chips the film?
That’s the film doing its job. A chip through the film is impact damage, not a defect, so it isn’t a warranty item, but we can replace a single panel of film far cheaper than a repaint. Send us a photo.
My tint has small bubbles a week after install. Is that a warranty issue?
Almost never. Moisture pockets are normal for up to 30 days while the film cures. If they’re still there after a month, bring it by and we’ll look.
Does my ceramic coating need maintenance to stay covered?
Yes. Coating warranties assume proper washing and, for longer-term packages, an annual inspection. We’ll remind you when it’s due.
What if I move away from the Fort Walton Beach area?
